Premium Option
Take your instruction to the next level with a private, instructor-led course aboard one of our premium cruising yachts. Premium courses are offered for up to 4 students per vessel and are designed as a complete, immersive experience with a USCG-licensed instructor assigned exclusively to your group.
Available for ASA 101/103, 104, and 105/106 combinations. Contact the office to discuss which boat is right for your course.

10% off per student when 2 or more students enroll in the same course at the same time. Applies to ASA 101/103, 104, and 106. Does not apply to add-ons such as linens, sleep aboard, or certification fees.
$100 off the ASA 101/103 course for students who already hold an ASA 101 certification and can provide credentials at time of booking.
$100 off ASA 104 or $200 off ASA 106 for the student booking the settee berth (non-private, limit 1 student per course).
10% off all premium courses starting before June 15 or after September 5.
GLSC may issue discount codes for specific course sections. Codes are applied to course fees only and do not apply to add-ons, certification fees, or materials. Contact the office for available promotions.
Booking policies
40% deposit due upon booking. Deposits are non-refundable.
Remaining balance is due 60 days prior to course start date. Balance is not refundable within 60 days of the course start date.
$200 change fee per student. Only one change allowed per booking. Changes must be approved by GLSC and requested more than 60 days before the course start date. Deposit may be applied to another course in the same calendar year.
If cancelled more than 60 days before course start, deposit may be applied to another course in the same calendar year. If cancelled within 60 days of course start, all payments are forfeited and cannot be applied to future courses.
All courses run 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Sleep Aboard begins at 6:00 PM the evening prior to the first day.
Students under 18 may not book without prior GLSC authorization. Please contact the office before submitting an application for a minor.
